My mono has a good amount of spangling on the dorsal, is this normal? All the ones on google have the normal black to fade dorsal w/o spangling. Is my mono a hybrid lol?

Pics of my monoculus, about 8" now. Sorry about picture size, photobucket is being screwy.

Daamn those have some crazy spangling. What size are they now? My friend said "hey maybe you got a kelberi"  wouldn't that be something

i would put my money on yours being a farmbred mono, where did you get it?

these were older pics, id say they were around 11-12 inches

Hey casper who was trying to take a bite out of him!!

Got it from an LFS in chinatown so I guessed the fish is a farm bread mono too.

No one bit him, he got into a fight with the dat and the dat rammed him on the side into the rock work lol. All is peaceful in the tank now.

definitely farm hybrid.....it is man and the toxic spills that has created genetically mutated supreme machines, its so damn hard to find true mono's or ocellaris......
