yeah they look healthy and i was responding to your question about how one just sits in the corner, rays get stressed and need time to get use to thier surroundings you said you had them for 2 weeks, my first ray took about a month to be moving around and being active on a normal basis shutting of the lights helps out with stress

Thank you very much:D That helps a ton...I have a lot of lighting on their tank...Maybe I'll leave them off for a while...Thanks bro...

Naaaahh bro they look healthy and why would it matter if it's OK for me or not? I want you to have them your doing a good job :D

They look way fatter than when I gave them to you I felt bad because of the condition they were in when they got there..
(these are like 3" retics folks ;) )

but hey that ray with the flower like pattern has always acted that way so don't worry.. When I first got them all that ray ate the best and had the darkest pattern, but always hid and was very shy.. He was like that up until the point I gave him to you.. as long as he comes out during feeding time..

Everything looks great :D

Lookin good to me. Very nice retics. Do they have any trouble burying themselves in the substrate you are using? It looks like a pretty big pebble gravel...then again it may just look big cause they are small rays. Best of luck sir.

It is a pretty course sand. They had trouble the first day, and now they get right in it. Thanks for the kind words:D

I just don't want to kill them. I hear so many horror stories, and this is going easy so far....I change more water than most anyhow, so it is really not a big deal.

Does everyone agree that 40% daily changes will be beneficial? I am running an AC110 and an AC70...I have Matrix and sponges in the 110 and all mech sponges in the 70. They poop so much, I feel the gravel vacs are neccessary...

In a few weeks, these guys will get one of my 125's to grow some more. I figure with 3x AC110's and a Xp3 they will be fine for a few years. Ultimately (if I can keep them alive) they will get a 250-300....I will obviously get other more prolific rays then as well....Did not mean to come across as a douche bag, I just hate when people go on about tank sizes, when that was never asked. Thanks guys.

40% waterchange a day sounds pretty good but u should check ur nitrates. it could still be too much or too little.... rays are lookin good!
