The creepy kids are the school kids who kind of seem to know things like peoples names without ever have met them. Also the mayor said that "they" are interested in the children.

Oh, I don't find that creepy. It's typical in small towns. Everyone knows everyone. You'd noticed if a new person was there. Plus they seem to have files on the residents. I did think they were testing him though to see how hard he'll be to convert to the rules. The questions that were being asked were probing questions
 
yeah, it was like they ask you and ask you over and over again until you tell them what they want to hear

and I assumed that the kids that grew up there were raised and trained to believe in the way of life in wayward pines
 
Watched a few episodes courtesy of OnDemand....it's annoying that I can't fast forward through the commercials but I guess I can follow the episides,especially since it has been pointed out that its only one and done seasonwise.
 
I like that Burke actually talked about what is going on with his wife. I remember screaming at my tv during Lost when some over the top stuff would happen to a character and they would never discuss it with anyone.
