Do Ornates get along with other bichirs?

i used to have a few ornates with 20 polys. they r the more aggressive poly and like to nip at other poly's tail. they dont kill other fish but when they nip it would cause my other polys to go into a panic frency. i hated seeing that so i downsized to only one poly now

Wow that's a waste!! I'm sure u would have liked to keep them all!!

Anyway, I kept my 10" ornate with a dwarf gourami and an angel fish for like 2yrs + without any probs. Except for that one time when he bit my angel and the wound grew lots of fungus... Thankfully he didn't die and now they are best friends =)
