cool thanks for the in put maybe i will change the demensions from 6'to 8'x 2'x2' whats that give me for gallons any one know the tank will be a plywood tank that i plan to have done by mid jun next summer so plans are flexible but shorter is easier for again moveing purposes

About 240g approx. You should be more happy with that foot print I would try to go 8x4x3 if I were you just to give them the extra room. 8x2x2 would surfice also but if your going to do it you might as well make it better the first time and for long term housing.
