do plecos poo alot??
for the past 2 weeks my 5" pleco has been poo like crazy. non-stop is that normal?????

Yup 
They eat a lot.. the natural result of this is they poo, a LOT.
Break out the gravel vacum

some times I thought mine made more poo than the amount of food he ate. Not a fair trade off when yor expecting it to help clean the tank.

Expecting plecos to clean the tank is like expecting the pigs to clean the pig sty.
But it's nothing that a whirlpool filtration system or 5 mins with a gravel vac wont fix
