Do the membrane thing below the gills grow back?

Guys, this happened last week but i posted it yesterday
While i was feeding him i could tell that it healed and grew a little bit

So it's healing or growing bigger or both? Ideally you don't want to spot to get bigger, that implies bacteria got in there, but if it's healing, it's a good sign.

It's healing, it looks like the other side but smaller.

For anyone wondering, the body part in question is called a branchiostegal membrane

If you can get some stressguard and some aquarium salt then add it. It would lower the chances of infection.
