Do they like your catfish??

I have two spotted cats...they are all over the tank...chasing each other...but, I do love my plecos too...
Everyone in my family liked the tiny cory cats I got, but I cant understand why the giant cory (Brochis bristkii) was so 'disgusting'?! Anyway, Plecos are 'gross'-especially bristlenose, and my helicopter cat is 'creepy, but cool'. as an aside, everyone hated my 'ugly Geophagus' until I got a compact fluourescent light so everyone can see their irridescence, which I could see all along. Now they're 'so pretty'. What can I say-- 'the mob is fickle'.
yes, actually some of them love it! we have an 8 inch electric catfish, that amazes all of my family

Yeah women seem to hate the whiskers.... they find it gross. For me the longer the whisker and tail filaments , the better...
My mother loves my oscars....whever I tell her a fish died she says "Was it an oscar?" but she also loves my pink convict. She does not like my catfish (white line pim and a pictus) at all. They remind her of rats and scavengers and such. Everyone else like my catfish but not nearly as much as they do the cichlids. I had a female roommate who never liked my fish because they were either to big or to drab. Even my N. brichardi were to drab for her and they are a rather feminine fish if you ask me. She only likes the fast moving cute and colorful fish. I tell her I like catfish and cichlids because of their intelligence and personality. I like to a lot of girls or even people in general fish are just ornaments and if they don't look "pretty" they are not worth having.
