I haven't had an issue with tiger barbs and clown loaches in the past, but the loaches were very small. I don't see it becoming an issue later on though. Maybe someone else has some input.

Yup.. I've got barbs in with my kubotai and no issues, clowns aren't quite as agile but their size should be plenty to keep the barbs from wanting to get too close anyways.
