Do wolf fish really eat piranha?

I've always heard they do.. but I came across an article stating it was just a gimmick that someone who owned a LFS came up with to sell these guys. Does anyone know if they really do?
 
they are called trahira in south america. which tranlates " piranha eater or piranha killer" that should answer your ?
 
A wolf will eat anything that's smaller, and damage most that's bigger than him.

Having said that, I bet an adult piranha would snack on a small wolf.

It's all a matter of size.

I agree. I think it also depends on the attitude of the fish. My last wolf fish was a complete pussy cat and wouldn't even eat bite sized convicts that lived with him.
 
its a big fish eat little fish world
