Do you believe in Karma?

I believe that people who make bad decisions tend to get themselves into bad situations, which IMO, has more to do with simple "cause & effect" than some kind of universal balance between good and evil..
I don't necessarily believe it's how the world works, but I do believe in living my life that way...same as the golden rule. The world would be a much better place if everyone followed these simple guidelines of morality. I'm not going to get into my anarchist views, but the way things are ran, person accountability isn't encouraged.
^ Trying not to overstep forum boundaries in saying this, but I personally believe that it is better to be a good person because you feel that it is the right way to live your life, rather than doing it in fear of the possible consequences of the alternative.
