If you think about it, humans are already too intelligent and as a result, we are constantly destroying eachother in massive numbers, think about what a society full of even more intelligent creatures would do to itself.

I do believe other life forms are out there.

If Einstein, Hawking, and the rest of the scientific communities that give us the understanding of the Universe say there are, I believe. Let just say other humanoids life forms out there had there “industrial revolution” 30,000-50,000 years ago before ours. That seems like very long time, but in terms of the Universe… it’s nothing. Imagine the advancement Humans will have in 50,000 years. Look at the advancement of Humans just the last 200 years. From saying flying is impossible to flying 3 times faster then sound. Heck…. just look at the advancement since the internet the last 20 years. In 50,000 years it might really be like Star Trek, Star Wars, or even like StarCraft.

Its extremely ridiculous to me to think that we are the only place in the universe with life.

I voted yes, not necessarily to all the random claims of UFOs, but for the fact that the universe in incomprehensibly huge. There are too many solar systems and galaxies for there not to be life out there. Scientists have already found several solar systems with similarly sized suns and planets at similar distances compared to ours. I personally love thinking about things like this though.

Maybe we destroy each other, our planet not because of our intelligence but because of
our ignorance. Yes I whole heartedly believe in other life forms and especially a superior
intelligence. But I don't necessarily believe that they are coming and visiting our planet
especially on a regular basis. I believe that 99% of what people see is military black
op projects.

You can't have one without the other. To think that there has ever been or will ever be a perfect species that fully understands and accepts everything is completely rediculous, even if this was possible, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of living? No matter what your beliefs are, I think that having complete knowlege of everything would completely defeat the purpose of life.

Don't believe there is a perfect species, just a more intelligent species. And yes there is both
intelligence and ignorance on our planet and I assume in the vast universe. And ignorance prevails
predominantly in this stage in our human history. Lets hope that intelligence will prevail at some point.

true, but we are talking about lifeforms, it doesnt have to be perfect or super intelligent. PLANTS dont destroy eachother, last time i checked, its a living thing aswell
