That logic is like saying that I hate *** people because I call them ***s instead of homosexuals. That's facepalm logic. I'm friends with some *** folks, one of whom happens to be a tranny. What does he call himself? A tranny. What do I call him? A tranny. Does anyone care? Nope.

That's personal though. The vast majority of transpeople do don't want to be called that though. If you google the slur, you get nothing but adult media. There is nothing but fetishization, objectification, and hate. If you google transgender though, you get a much different picture.

I'm not gonna let a bunch of people in the porn industry dictate what roles off my tongue better.

trans is harder to say. I'd rather say transgender if i'm gonna say trans. people who are overly obsessed with trying to force people to be politically correct is a little annoying to be honest. and i don't necessarily find someone being called a slut offensive if it's true.

saying tranny to me is like saying granny. seriously, there really is no more to it than that. it rolls off the tongue easier

But its not about you. Additionally, that slur was used against mtf transpeople, but it was ftm transpeople who have been trying to reclaim it and are ok with it. Its just a gigantic mess, and I don't understand why its so important for you to be able to say that one word.
