like scrubbies,bio balls,sponges,rings

All my bio media gets cleaned(rinsed) at some point. The bioballs and scrubbies in wet/drys about once every 4 to 6 months, biomax in canister every2 to 3 months and the biomax in HOB gets rinsed weekly. I do not rinse biowheels though, so I think I could actually vote in all 3 catagories.

I clean it with tank water, that's it.

always had good mechanical.

of course i did inspections, but never had to clean em.

Every 6 months or so I just give it a "swish" in tank water..
