Do you clean your canister filter tubes?

I have switched all of my tubing to black spiral corrugated pond tubing. No light = no algae... and if it is there I don't see it. What I really like about the black spiral pond tubing is that it doesn't kink! I will never go back to vinyl tubing

Nope. I clean my filters every week tho. well at least one of them.

Filter every time I see reduction of flow...I also clean the spray bars

but there still will be slime build up....
