I was just at a car dealership looking at a trailblazer for the old lady. The one I test drove had trouble going into 4 low, and the dealer told me that you never use 4 low so it's fine. :bs::ROFL::ROFL:

So am I just not normal by actually using 4 low?

LOW means it has a low range gear box.

Since you don't know what that is, i assume you dont offroad so it shouldn't really matter.

A normal gear box is meant to travel at road speads.
A "low" gear box is meant to travel slowly with LOTS of power.

you probably have, normal, then normal with 4wheel drive.

then low, and low with 4wheel drive.

I use 4lo for hauling hay through a cattle pasture. If I didn't have hay, I probably wouldn't. If I had a trailblazer, I wouldn't be taking it anywhere to need 4lo.

In any case, I'd stay away from any vehicles that have t-case problems of any kind.

I do construction so I'm usually in the mud. And I use my silverado to plow in the winter. I'm not saying that this vehicle would ever need it, but I thought it was funny that the dealer said that I'd never need it.

And therealandycook, I know what 4 low is.

Sounds like he was trying to sell something

You definitely need 4lo then, especially on a tb...Hopefully you aren't going to be the one pulling the tool trailer with a trailblazer though...lol

No, it'll be my fiance's car so the worse it'll see is snow in Michigan when we go snowboarding. But that's still pretty bad conditions sometimes.

You use 4lo for when someone tries to tow your truck, it'll break an axle and you get to sue. :grinno:

ull use 4 low. do not buy it. its got a problem.

but thats what ya get for looking at a chevy
