do you fast your ARO???

do you guy's fast your beloved "ARO'S" at least once a week coz i know they require this to oscars and im doing it also to my JARDINI and i notice that by doing this there's more coloration in em... plus he/she can really digest all his food from the previous day...
 
i try not to feed every day either....fish in the wild are constantly on the edge of starvation, always looking for food...they don't have a regular feeding time...i still probably feed a little more than i should..
 
Our aro is just getting to the fasting stage but it's difficult to do a true every other day schedule with the other fish in her tank so for now she'll get one fast day a week and slightly smaller meals.
 
i feed my aro every other day and then once in a while wait and feed on the 3rd day.
i also feed differing amounts at feeding time and feed till full or feed just a small amount for a couple of feeds.
