i feed aros twice per day until they get to 10inch then cut it down to once per day but small amounts

i never stave my aro as i like the fat aro look

you will find that once the aro gets to 16inch it will starve its self for 1-2 weeks

a aro in the wild will be looking for food all the time and chances are it will find it daily maybe not a large amount of food but it will find something to eat

all i know is i get stressed if i dont eat daily

above 18" they get fed pellets daily. meaty foods once a week or once every 2 weeks as a treat.

i agree with awolangler that feed the fish everyday when small and every other day when their big already thats what im doing right now... but every sunday or saturday i dont feed my arowana just to let them fast and i noticed that their color is much more better PLUS they can really digest their food better!!!

man, i wish i had that kind of time to devote to my tanks...maybe when i retire
