Do You Have Any Irrational Fears?

actually mayo is about the worst thing you could eat ,this side of mickey d ..so that fear has an upside
 
Mayonnaise is the base for a lot of sauces... Like ranch. The processed stuff you find in jars at the grocery store has little resemblance to what it looks like fresh made by hand.

From early childhood my older bro hated mayo. wouldn't touch it AT ALL.
Unbeknownst to us, however, it was the top Secret ingredient in mom's potato salad. which he loved.
I'll never forget the first time I found out.
I watched her making it, and she swore me to secrecy during the process.... large spoonfuls plopping in the bowl.
Then I stared, wide-eyed, as he ate mounds & mounds of potato salad.
"MMmmmmmmm...
SECONDS, plz!"

I can taste mayo if its in something even if its only in minute ammounts. Sandwiches, sushi, salads, sauces, whatever. When ordering any of these things I always ask if they contain or could have possibly come into contact with mayo. Kind of irrational you may think, but totally rational to me. I almost quit a job once at Trader Joes when I was asked to clean up a broken jar of mayo. I was literally gonna walk out.

I'm not challenging your detection abilities, though. You might really know for sure.
