Ok, so more like 3/4. lol
I believe someone took a bite out of him. If I look directly down on his back, you can see little ridges, and where they healed over. Clean bite though, and it came about 1 mm from his spine. The LFS saved him for us, since we always rescue the rejects from them lol. He's pretty neat to us, very mellow, yet can hold his own in the middle of feeding time.
He's amazing. Nice rescue! Have you seen my sloppy tour of fish I've rescued?

I have had to for each of the two I got from them lol. A one eyed jewel, (he passed a few months ago finally) and a one eyed albino tin foil barb.

I didn't sign any paperwork, actually. They just put the raph in a bucket and I drove him home, acclimated him and returned the bucket later. It was PetCo, though, and I'm not familiar with dealing with either store. I just use them for cheap meds and some foods.

He didn't survive an emergency out of town trip I had to make about a week after getting him. I found him mostly eaten. He was only about 2 inches. 
My favorite rescue so far has to be my RTC, his upper jaw is just retarded, but he always looks happy lol. lemme see if I can find the video.

Oh! That rtc. I've seen him. Looks like he got dropped on the floor as a fingerling...but in a cute way!
Yep that's him. He's growing a lot lately. Hit another growth spurt. I should have posted this pic of my odd couple. My Lima and the RTC. I woke up this morning to find her sleeping on top of him. The living room light didn't even bother them in "bed" (log) lol. I know I posted them before in other places but they fit in well here. Older pics, I will upload more tonight. In these I can see what a big difference 2 months have made. His lower jaw protrudes further out now. He reminds me of a character from the Black Hole Sun video.
