Damn. Went back to petsmart today to pick up the two fish, and I guess they got new stock or something because there were a ton of small oscars in the tank this time, and the water was now cloudy, and gross looking (smelled bad too, my guess is an oscar died).
The two snooks had deffinitely deteriorated already from the conditions (faded color, mouth looked messed up on one of them)... disappointed, but that's what you can expect from a typical big chain store. I wont be picking up the fish until I can find some in good condition and hopefully at a mom and pop shop instead
But I did find this baby gold saum at tong's fish world
