I I have some driftwood in my tank. I like the way my rays search food around it. Sometimes they chill on top of it. Thats a cool sight.

i would love it in my pond i have alot of nice large pieces but im gonna play it safe with the liner and not risk it....

i used to have some but i removed it due to ph swings. as soon as i pulled out the wood the prob was no longer....

I would say its safe...I have some with my ray and also one floating at the top of the tank that is unsinkable so it also dims the tank from the bright light while up their and thats where my other fishes like to hide and my ray loves to pick some food up on the side of the floating driftwood =)

i recently bought a huge piece
put it in for a day then took it out afraid when my leo gives birth that she might hurt herself?
i get paranoid sometimes

No need to, I have a huge piece here and no problems what so ever during mating and birth ;)

of course in Amazon there are people who carefully remove all the driftwood and rocks and mud from everywhere rays live
:)
joking :)
