I've been thinking about getting a flower horn do you think it would be ok if put it with my silver arow and my dat?

ALready posted in this thread, gonna go a little bit more in depth this time

My dad is really into bloodparrots and flowerhorn/BP crosses he has a few tanks at his office with tons of parrots, so ive been around parrots a bit, they are one fish that helps the hobby out as bad as it seems, at the shop i work at we bring them in twice a week and clear out on them..... what i really am against is dying ......
Im against respectacons for sure, i think its a disservice to the hobby to sell fish as something there not
Im fine with flowerhorns as long as there not sold as trimac
Im thinking of getting a flowerhorn in the near future or something else interesting just to mix things up a little bit

wow only one more person on the keeping flower horn side then on the not keeping them side

I think that by far the largest reason we keep fish is for enjoy ment which is why i would keep a FH if its a big colorful interactive and hungry fish its a fun fish to have so for keeping FH why not

As for breeding them and selling i do see a little problem with that like with the hole true not true Trimac thing as FH will often not have different traits and behaviors then true trimacs smae with pure breed Vieja and hybrids

i personally like pure breeds but ill admit that those hybrid are very nice and i got a flowerhorn and he's pretty bad

I admit I have one flowerhorn, as I couldn't resist a fish with such nice coloring and pearling. However, I have four pure breed SA cichlids, and my brother has five pure breed SAs, so we definately prefer pure breed over hybrids.
