How is this significant? just curious..

when i was a kid, we used to eat it and pretend we were chewing tobacco, that's about it i guess

just like eating certain candy that makes your tongue turn green or blue

CORNHOLIO! (kinda sounds like it to me, lol)

Scandinavians and their licorice...

When I was twelve I was on a ferry from England to Sweden. The guy sharing a cabin with me had a bag of black licorice and offered me some (this was 26 years ago when you still could take candy from strangers). The licorice was covered in big sugar crystals - a little odd, but I tried a piece to be polite. I almost gagged the second I popped it in my mouth, as it wasn't covered with sugar crystals, but rather with rock salt...

My family from holland eats a dutch version of that called double salt. I myself love it and the licorice flavor is great but you ( I for that matter ) have to suffer through it for the first piece or 2 to get to the licorice flavor. Most people I give it to spit it out within a half a second if they can even last that long. It feels like its burning a hole in your tounge but it is so good.

So lbf is doing well it seems

LMAO!!!! This guy is nuts.

Licorice reminds me of Jagermeister. I hate licorice, especially the black licorice; but I enjoy Jagermeister.
