Do you like hybrids?

i like how you can so many different types of fish like the blood red parrots, flowerhorns, and the different catfishes but there is a huge problem with them someone might release them and then with have a species that wouldn't excist naturally and is also invasive depending upon the location i live in the colder parts so i know tropical fish wouldn't live here but there are spotted gars lots of bass bluegills some minnows i like the little sticklebacks theyre always playing and they build these little dome nests i was on vacation once and the person who was supposed to feed em didnt, they turned canabilistic theyre fun though like little spiky pirahna's just not with a bad rep and im getting off track but oh well but the different types of goldfish might become invasive so they could wreak alot of havoc also considering that no wild fish has seen them before and wont know what to think and they wont have any natural predator anywhere so i like hybrids but i think people need to be pretty careful

There are so many great fish out there, so I cant said hybrids are best, but DAMN!!, Flowerhorns are on my top 10

i like gar hybrids!!
unfortunatly they r nearly impossible to get

But like Lep plat said, you can hardley ever find them...
But in general I like hybrids, as long as their not impaired or anything

most are ok, some FH look amazing, and if they are labelled in a responsible manner and then sold on in such a manner then i have no problem with it. what i do hate about the hybrid business, rather than the fish themselves, is that they are often mis sold by people with no moral compass. look at some low grade FH being sold as trimac or midasXdevil sold as pure midas. these then get mated with a pure specimen and to the current owners knowledge they are pure. the fry get sold on as such and so on.
people who want pure breeds are having a harder and harder time getting what they want because people are misselling and therefore destroying the purity of some species.

blood parrots are a whole other ball game because they have bred in deformaties that are just cruel and their production needs to be stopped. while i dont like them, its not the fishes fault. so im not up for active extermination or anything like that but rather prevent further production and let the already deformed fish live as much of an existence as possible but let the breed die.

of course this is my opinion.

I personally think thats one of the best opinions on here But thats my 2 cents on your 2 cents...
