Do you like the "box" on the left???

I don't like it. As mentioned dozens of times, it just doesn't look right at all.

so after reading peoples responses on here, its seems as though the main issues people have are:

- posts start in center. people with smaller screens/resolution have to scroll to the right to see everything

- empty dead space on the left seems "weird". im sure it wouldnt be an issue if it was filled with something. perhaps some links to forum vendors? or like a slide show of images in the photo gallery? or even move the Quick Link or other shortcuts to the left side. if the dead space were gone, i think people in general would find it easier to view.

i didnt start this thread with the intent of whining as some people think. if you cannot comprehend that, then i'm sorry, you have issues. i clearly stated this in my first post. it was just a means of discussing a new change to the site, which i do not see anything wrong with. if anything, this should be encouraged as last i checked we were considered a "community" where everybody's input and opinions were encouraged, appreciated, and counted for something. That's all there is to it really...

This has been answered by Li in a previous thread in Comments section. There is a plan to add some features on the empty space.

i want to know how many "doesnt bother me" peeps use high res
and i want to know how many "i hate it" peeps use 800 600
i would bet the doesnt bother me guys mostly use high res while i hate it guys use 800 600
high res it doesnt change a thing
800 600 is a joke now,gotta scroll every single page
then scroll more for threads with pix
big mess to us 800 600 peeps and no change to others
thats why it bothers some and not others
