Do you like your sun cat?

mine has been hand fed for the last couple months.
he plays tug of war with me when im feeding earthworms

k, lol i think that inside im trying to replace my bullhead that i had a year ago, lol. he was about he same size and mellow as this suncat, he came out at pretty much all hours but a little more with dim light or at night, and he ate everything and i could hand fed him and he would come to the surface to feed on pellets too, so that is pretty much wwhat i was looking for. lol hopefully he turns out to be a great cat!

i like mine, it only comes out at night but i bought it because i think they resemble red tails and i couldn't get a red tail

well i just picked up a 7 incher and he looks pretty sweet but he only comes out when the lights are off and is wicked scared when i walk in the room. lol but im sure he will come out of his shell, and from what all you are sayign he gort great reviews from everyone so hopefully i will enjoy my mini-monster. any more input is till appreciated

Give him time to settle in they are offten VERY active at night Especially when new to a tank I would get a moon light or something so you can watch him at night thats what i wan't to do with my sun cats

Haveing more then one can help them become more out going the 2 i have in my 20 long will come to the surface and eat pellets and other things they seem to like shallow tanks for this reason my larger sun cat use to come to the surface when he was in my 20 long but rarely comes to the surface now that hes in the 55

y amine is now a lot more activ, i have him in a 55, and i have a big piece of drift wood tha makes like half the tank a cave, lol and he cruises in there all the time and he tries to follow my convict but the con gets scared and swims reallly fast. lol and today i sam him try his first food since i had him it was a small piece of krill, im starting to like him more now i can start to see his personality
