I know pets aren't people.. but they do feel and live and at least understand body language!

Ive got a tank across from the bottom of my stairs that you can see from the top, they always go crazy when they see me at the top of the stairs because they think they will get fed. Well they are paying pretty good attention because one day my girlfriend flung her keys (attached to one of those retractable nametage things) at them and they all flinched. Changed my view in how much "attention" they can distribute.
