Do you name your fish?

Alexmuw I can atone for your fish name in that one of my fish, who was the smartest and became the immediate leader of the pack, was to be named Barack or Obama. However, a compromise was made and between Jack Bauer (24) and Obama the fish became Jobama.

I would love to see that fish Jobama! A smart fish with the balls to get stuff done!
 
I have too many to name now but some of the unique ones have names. Eclipse (Common Plec), Fred Finstone (Bluegill lol..) and Dingleberry II (Emerald Cory Catfish)

I got some chichlids I'm growing out as food... Ones now named gigantic and ones named huge. I think I have made the "don't get attached" mistake.

I got petey, popeye, port, peral (was name whitey but that didn't fit) and perry. They are my lovely 5 carbre piranha. I also have 2 yoyo loaches both named waldo since I can't tell them apart and have a horrible time finding them.

Then theres george the clown pleco who looks like a guy at work. Don't know if he would approve but it kinda stuck after I got the fish.
 
Would you believe I named dozens of my goldfish and still can memorize the names?

I think you're right, Whitey would work and I actually have an inside joke about that name. Thanks :)
 
I have Oscar the Oscar ;) Garyadose the Betta (named by the kids after a water pokemon) But he gets called Gary :D The new additions I bought this week haven't been named yet and neither have the two BN catfish i have as I can't tell any of them apart :ROFL:But they'll all get names eventually
