I used to name the ones that stood out but now only name fish that are special. The ones with offical names are: Lullabye the Black Moor, Blithe the Calico Ryukin, Dewdrop the Lionchu, Joy & Jubliant (Red Wag Platies), Pow the Dojo loach & Skeleton & Bones (Glass Cats).
 
Oscar: Marry Jane(Spiderman), the great white, etc she has many names..
G. Severum: Pete
Sarasa Comet (Not a feeder..): Patches (GF named)
Clown Knife: Tyson
3 Giant Danio: Larry Curly Moe
More coming .. I want a Silver Arow named Merlin lol

We bought my Senegal as a dinosaur palmas so we named him Rex :)

My female betta is Betsy, my fiance named her dwarf gourami Finnigan (Fin)

I'll be picking up a Congo Puffer in the next couple of weeks and I plan to name it Lu (Cthulhu) since it'd come out of the sand to wreak havoc :)

Heatherbeast: Thanks, they're my son's, so I thought I'd go with a Mother Goose reference lol as far as funny trio names, you could always go with Hear-No, See-No, Speak-No (evil) lol Or, playing off my 2 cat's name No-Less, No-More, and for a 3rd "Just-Right". I'm off the wall though... I like the Stooges reference above.

Oh and my fiance calls her cories the ferbtones, living with her Fin :)
