I'm a big Kurt Vonnegut fan. My favorite book is Slaughterhouse V, but I also like Breakfast of Champions and Cat's Cradle. I still have yet to read some of his other work

I'm a big fan of Vonnegut's, too. When I was in college I took a lit course in science fiction and he came to talk to our class, it was really cool.

My favorites are 'Welcome to the Monkey House', 'God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater', and 'Galapagos', but I like all his older stuff except 'Player Piano', which I started twice but never finished. I don't like his newer stuff at all, since 'Happy Birthday, Wanda June' he has really gone downhill, in my opinion.

I almost exclusively read non-fiction these days, don't know why...

The only fiction I still read are children's books to my class. Roald Dahl is my absolute favorite!

I started Player Piano too and didn't get too far. I was really busy at the time, but I can't remember for sure why I stopped reading it. It's been forever since I've really sat down and read anything that wasn't required for a class or some sort of herp/fish reading.

Wow.. That opens up some avenues.
