i've been there had to remove one of well 3 fish that i had grown to love and return them for trade became much aggressive towards a 11" common plec that i had the one was a very nice jag that i had to put down because of the huge gashs she received in just one night of attacks the others i traded back at a later time including my common to buy some fancy plecs all my fish are juvies now but the future holds a big enough amazion biotope they can all get aong well together

Depends. In my oscar tank he wnt nuts and attacked the others I took them all out except the pleco. In my mbuna tanks I usually move the aggressor

i definately do this..
even if for example.. my jardini beats up all my dats etc, but i will remove a fish just because of the fact he is chasing them and might scratch himself on the side. he's gotta look perfect.. so then i will remove the fish he was pestering lol.

depends on how bad the violence is in the tank. I let fighting and bullying go on. but if things get out of hand i move fish around to other tanks.

But do you guys feel more pissed if the victim fish is your priced fish? or you will feel the same 'pissness' even if the victim fish is the normal not so $$$ fish?

i'm pissed either way. I hate it when they can't all get along

I separate them . But as far as who gets separated is another story.. Depends who really belongs in the tank. Say the arowana gets attacked by a parrot, then the parrot moves as the arowanas home is the main tank .If the ray attacks a smaller fish ( like a severum ) , then the severum has to go since its easier to move the severum than a large stingray.

the money dont matter it could be a golfish that was being harrased by a new fish i would return the new guy or move him before i removed the goldfish from his tank .
