Do you store your dead fish in the freezer?

I know if I had a giant monster fish that I had for years and grown attached to, I would have it stuffed and put on a plaque with its name

i do, i always feel bad when i lost my fish, to me it's somewhat kind of wake.

My sister was yelling at me for putting packaged bloodworms in the freezer, probably going to kill me if I put dead fish in

preserving dead pets just isn't my thing in general.. granted, they're beautiful in a different way than say, a dog, but it still just gives me the willies. With hunting mounts, you didn't have any sort of attachment to that animal other than the tasty steaks you made last night... when its your pet, i feel like every time i looked i'd just feel bad that it wasn't still alive.

Its not a big enough of a deal for me to even wonder why people do it.

i do too. I have a few large gar and etc in there. I was saving them if anyone wanted them for skeletal mounts/etc

If ti's a fish I was attached to I store them there until I can bury them. Otherwise I store them there until trash day. I couldn't stand to throw a fish I'd really cared about for years into the trash.
