Do you talk to your fish?

Yes I talk to my fish. But what we all really want to know... Do the fish talk back to you?

You can tell what total rascals my fish are. Leonardo is so intent watching me with the camera, that he misses his last potato chip and tries to take Adonis' chip. He has one eye on me most of the time. Yeah, we talk to our fish....

I know this may sound weird, but I love talking to my betta. Sure, he's a fish and doesn't understand me, and I don't pretend he does. But if I'm upset, or angry, or whatever, I know I can talk to him. And as I talk, he looks at me, swims around gracefully and helps me calm down. Sometimes he'll blow bubbles at me and I laugh, because it's seems so funny.
Same thing with my husband's bearded dragon. If I'm crying and my hubby's not around, I just get the lizard out and pet her. She is normally very active and almost naughty in how hyper she is, but if I'm upset, she stays calm and cuddles with me.

Does anyone else do this? I know people love their cats and dogs for the same reasons, but I know my fish and lizard help me in the same ways.

I talk to my Betta Thundercleese all the time, he is really the only one I talk to, I love that fish to death.

And my other daughter told me her betta was lactose and tolerant..............

anyway yeah i talk to my fish alot mostly at feeding time or when i check on them in the morning or when the lights about to shut off at night

Yep me too and the mrs does,i come home and its like,how are you dudes,you been misbehaving or have you been good today,and the aro and the dat look back at me like,id behave if he wasnt in the tank,and shut up and feed me lol.

my wife talks to the fish and feeds them while I clean their tanks...guess who they like better?

I say **** you to my danios when they nip at my datnoids but that's about it

lol oh good Im not alone here, I speak to the fishies epsecially when its feeding time..lol My gar Kaida tends to follow me around when im doing things around the tank.
