Do you think fish get bored?

I think betta's live a sad and boring life.

Not mine. He lives in a planted 5g. He glows with happiness. LOL
Compared to bowl Bettas anyway. There is someone on AC who has a 55g for one! Betta! Nothing else.

i dont think they get bored,but i always have music at home, they like listening to that

Ive seen my sens "play" in the bubbles from the air stone. My younger sen would swim up and down only in that spot by the bubbles. And when i still had my Oscar he would sit in the bubbles all the time. So my guess is as long as the tank inst bare bottom they probably wont be board.

Same here with my Betta, i felt bad when i had him in a bowl when i first got him home, so now hes in a 10gal with a feeder fish i saved

My old Senegal used to sit on top of the internal filter when there were a lot of people in the room. Like she was watching them, lol

I don't think that boredom is a recognizable notion to fish. So, even if they should be bored, they don't know it.

Yeah I agree, and even if they were bored, I don't see how anyone could tell that they were bored, since symptoms of boredom in other animals are more similar to simptoms of disease in fish.

they can get bored but mine are probablly rarely bored they got lots of buddies and liddle caves to hide in
