Weigh a whole double roll vs 2 single rolls then minus the extra cardboard roll for the singles. This will give you a more true answer...

I already thought of this and a single cardboard roll by itself barely even moves the scale even without anything on the other side.

Also make sure you're comparing apples to apples by weighing single ply to single ply or double to double...

Yes... both are 2-ply

They claim you are getting twice(with the double) as much which you are not, otherwise the weight would also be twice as much
