Do you wash your hands?

Me too. My fish get overly hungry when too much resin gets in the tank. j/k of course! I would never get my fish stoned!!!

Actually, I don't wash my hands every single time I put em' in the water unless I've been working on my car or something. Always after though. My psyche doesn't like the idea of fish poo particles covering my entire forearm.

I smoke so that is one more reason to scrub before putting my hands in a tank.

i wash before and after as well. i also smoke cigs. can nicotine from your fingertips actually hurt the fish, becouse im sure that my hand have been in the tank after a cig that i smoked after washing my hands. i DO try to avoid it though...

I have horses, dogs, cat, teach nasty high school students art (all kinds of materials there!), live on a farm with cattle, horses, and mules, so along with the fishies I am always washing my hands, arms, face, feet, hair, ears, nose, toes, knees, and so on and so on and so forth. . . . it's alot of nastiness and prevention of cross germification. . . . hey, no wonder I don't have a boyfriend!

I rinse my hands off before I clean the tank in order to prevent me putting anything in the tank, I also wash my hands with soap and water after I clean them.

I don't know if the nicotine on my hand is enough to hurt the fish but I am a bit paranoid about it since losing everything in a community tank because some a@#@$%* discarded a cigarette butt in it.
