if you read the packaging for frozen blood worms they reccommend not touching them .so wearing your gloves is a good idea

Thanks for the link. I ordered some medical use purple nitrile gloves from ebay for use when preparing foods.
 
I dont use glove but its not a bad idea.

Considering that i wash my hands before doing anything with the tank, including feeding...
No, I don't wear gloves even for live/fresh foods.

I do however wear gloves anytime I enter the tank.
