Canned cat food for a greedy marbled goby and the occasional treat for an american eel, but never dry food.
Do your fish take dry dog food?

Heard dried cat kibble is good food, never tried it, but think the analysis of it is comparable to fish pellets. fish flavours probably best. 
the LFS I go to has a 20'' pacu that loves meaty bones(dog biscuit) .... he also throw's in dryed kibble but make sure it is not gravy train , once wet gravy train makes gravy !! messy brown garvy water
