Do your focus your collection on one type of fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I do. Fancy goldfish. However I will always have room for a monster Midas, or Flowerhorn or bass.

It seems like if I get away from those types of fish, my collection slips on its focus if you will..

What about you?

No.

not for me either. i like having a verity. My problem is there so many out there and i just dont have the tanks for them. lol

Mostly, I slip on my money. I pretty much had to focus on central american only, including a couple of interesting Flowerhorn prospects and future goals. Endlers' and swordtails made the cut, along with crayfish from elsewhere, and nerite snails:)

Discipline comes in many forms:) Save dollars; raise nic'kles:)

Live ones?
honestly, i dunno...
catfish are my favourites and every tank has some species of cat in it... well except the one thats growing algae for my cherry shrimp lols.
but even then, i might do a breeding pair of albino longfin bristle's if i can find a nice large female :)

I do mainly focus on one type of fish... although if my polleni were to pass i'd probably consider keeping the 60G for another type of fish other than puffers...

Doradids. And doradids. They are almost the perfect aquarium fish aside from being hidey. Smallish, long-lived, variety of species, ease of feeding, compatibility, amazing spikiness and monsterous appearance, the list goes on. Oh, and for some reason they are almost always among the cheapest fish around. It's so weird.
