hey all, just wondering if anyone out there has parents that don't hate your tanks. my parents hate my tank minus 1 fish. and if your parents hate your tanks how do you get them to put up with your fish???

man i envy you my dad thinks the only good fish is a 14" oscar that kills everything else. my mom like the wierd fish(like my blood parrot) my dad thinks if it isn't an oscar it should be eaten

ya i am on the smallest spectrum of monster tanks, 125 gallon, but my parents think i am syco and when i said that was all i wanted for my birthday my whole family thought i was syco. my sister fits in my tank. i wish i could have gone bigger but i would have been disowned.
when i had 6 tanks setup in my room they would give me crap haha but now that i only have 2 they dont mind. sometimes they come in and just watch my tanks lmao
IM bought to put a 240 in my room I doubt theyll like it. GOod thing my mom is an animal lover. "But mom the fish need more space to swim, do you want them to suffer?" thats what I use if I want to upgrade.
We used to have my 75g reef on a balcony. Everyone, parents, siblings, relatives would come sit on the stairs to watch it. The new 125g reef is going into the living room, where everyone will be able to enjoy it again.
