Do your parents put hate or love your tanks?

Even though i dont live with my parents they still complain about my tanks, but they dont complain about my pond haha.
 
ya my dad says if i put a pond in the back yard he would fish in it so no pond. my family likes animals, we have 16+ pets, but they think i went a little crazy with wanting a 125. if i got a 300 or anything they would totally kill or disown me.
 
I had tanks growing up, and my parents didnt like them all that much. So I moved out, all complaints about them stoped "what was that you used to say dad??? oh yea...my house my rules!"
 
Lets just say they [my parents] hated every hobby I've ever taken up.
 
My dad supports me 100% While my mom just thinks I am crazy. I keep her updated on the growth of my RTCxTSN haha, she doesn't know about the pond going in my room. :)
 
My parents were always cool about my tanks. They liked to show my fish off to company. They didn't seem to mind me running well over 500 gallons(6 tanks) in their living room. As long as I pitched in with the electric bill of course.
 
My parents have loved my tank(s) since I sold 6 smaller one's and bought my first 6'er (130g). Company loved it! That was 16 years ago and now dad has my old 55g and building a 2000g pond.

Whenever dad comes over, he parks infront of the fishtank and has a few beers. :)

I think the key factor was that I always took care of my tanks and they knew I did my research. Explaining to them that this is a major hobby of mine (even as a kid) and doing regular maintenance really helped smooth them over.
 
my dad loves them my mom dosent care just hate when i bring home a tank and try to set it up
