Do your skittish fish ever annoy you???

My loaches would be fine except my SD's and RHK's get spooked and they start the stampede..It's really annoying when you have friends or family over ,they are over looking in the tank and it's a mad dash from one end to the other.. Then you get the sarcastic “ Nice fish?” . However if I leave the lights off everyone is cool, when the lights are on the SD’s become really skittish.

My balas always make me mad. Their the most insanely skittish fish I've ever owned. I swear, they've got cuts and bruises all over their bodys from just jumping into the lid and running into the side and the gravel.

I agree with you Delhezi222, I have 4 balas and I really regret putting their tank in my bedroom, I swear they splash at night just to annoy me.

the only fish i have that is a little skittish is the 4-lined pim, but he's calming down. f'er is a friggin piggie, though

Im afraid of the 4 largemouth bass I have. One time my key fell in the tank and I had every finger bit at least 4 times by the time I reached it at the bottom.

Yes, they annoy me too. I culled a batch of discus because of that. It cost me some $$$ too.

I used to keep discus, but couldn't stand doing so much work for fish that wouldn't come out for me to admire.
