Docile monster for SA setup

I plan to upgrade to a 300g in a year or so (have it already but dont have the space to set it up currently). Any suggestions on a docile monster to go with rh taps and threadfins?

Yea I'd thought about pearsei and chocolate. Those were the only 2 that I could think of however.

I've heard varied accounts on true parrot cichlid (H. psittacus) , maybe possible?

Wow. First posted nailed the one i would've suggested.

I had a Pearsei in with rainbows and small loaches, no problems.

I have a Pearsei in my 210g with a mix of many smaller fishes and he is very mild tempered. He will give a little chase to some large red hook silver dollars but only at feeding time. Bocourti might be another one to consider, a tad more aggressive than a Pearsei but still in the gentle giant category. I am in the process of growing out some Paraneetroplus heterospilus that I got from Rapps, these have a rep for being pretty mild. They dont get as big as a Pearsei but my friend has one that is easily a foot but most of the times I think its said 10".

Pearsei and boucourti would have been my first two recommendations. I've never had an issue with chocolates besides conspecific aggression. Hoplarchus have a reputation for being pretty aggressive from most accounts I've seen, although I've never kept them myself.
