one guy claimed to pull a ray out of death curl

he did it supposedly and refused to give out details except for water changes with pre aged water and a little salt

i persoanlly dont believe this guy, no pictures after the first signs of curl

I have an antenna ray that at one point was starting to curl. I baby sat him all day and did small water changes with warm water, and added salt.. He was battling a tail fungus, and was pretty stressed right after he came in. During that day I was babysitting him, I went home and grabbed a huge dark blanket, and covered up his entire tank. He pulled out of it, and now he is a champ!

The loss of any animal is sad. What exactly is happening to the ray at the point when they start to curl? I don't know much about them.

From what ive read ,the infamous death curl is a sign that a ray has lost control of its neural functions ( like having an epileptic seizure ) and thats why the disc floats upwards. Ive heard anectodal evidence that rays have pulled out of a death curl but no documented one yet.

imagine there are muscles that hold the disk edges down, these same muscles control movement

they loose control and WONT move

3 year bump for remembering why you're banned. :D

Edit: Now that it has beem 3 years, have there been any more documented cases of "revival" of death curl?
