Man That sucks 2 pumps at the same time. Keep us updated sir.
 
Replace the quite one 16000's with evolution series pumps. Each rated at 9k gph :). Much better than the old ones. Anyway. Gars nose is all healed up and he's back to eating more than his fair share and growing quick! I'll get picks up soon. He is getting very thick
 
i transferred my gar to a pond but he doesn't swim around much. I added guppies to keep him company and those have already had babies. He doesn't seem sick, he sleeps all day.
 
Mine spends half his day cruiseing the pond (and splashing me when ever I walk in the room). And just chill in at the edge of the weeds. How large is your pond anaB?
 
the pond is 8ft by 10ft and it is 4ft high i only have it filled half way. He chills under the plants ALL day hardly moving. But I noticed he spends all night swimming around :(.

That is normal gar behavior so you are doing things right.. As size increases so will the fishes desire to be more bold.
