There are a LOT of applicable phrases to fit those cars using that letter arrangement, but Diamond Star Motors is the origin of the term. (Mistubishi)

Okay thanks....now I'm wondering why he didn't just mention the model of the car?

LOL,I don't know about that, the 3000gt was a rocket for sure and more recently, the Evolution is no plate of chopped liver...I'm sure his car has a name so what's the big deal in saying it?

ha ha. I'm just messing around with the guy. Actually you kinda jogged my memory.I remember losing a lot of money to a 3000 GT years ago, yes that thing was a rocket ship!! But if I were to get something similar, I've already been sold on Subaru.

Did you race someone who had a trey thousand?...what were you driving?

I used to attend the local races. I wasn't driving, it was my friends 65 El Camino. Being a truck, people bet traction would be a problem, but we got it dialed in to literally leave on the back bumper. Back then 10s on the street was fast and we could do it all night long. So when we heard about this Mitsubishi, we went big, and went home broke :(

matter of fact, it was like $2500-$3000

Damn. That would have given me an attitude for the rest of the year....So which Subaru do you like ?

Lol, we probably needed an attitude adjustment at the time. My friend recently purchased a used Impreza STI. He took me for a ride in it and the cornering with all wheel drive sold me. I LOVED being pulled thru a turn. I didn't even get it in the dirt where Im sure it's amazing!!
