I like it. I love the late 60s Yenkos, I've even contemplated doing a tribute car. The Corvette is cool, but I already see it's not CA emissions friendly, not that it has stopped me in the past lol. Imo, it's just a bad time to buy a performance Corvette. The mid engine Vette will hopefully drop any day now. That will be a game changer, I just wish they could figure out an all wheel drivetrain.

I had a friend that got an issurance settlement and built a nasty foxbody. We started with a 4 cylinder body dropped a 408 with a t78 turbo. Tubular k member fiberglass trunk hood etc.

I was merging onto the interstate at 80 and punched it. I used the whole 3 lanes trying to keep it out of the ditch. Skinnies on the front don't turn so good....
 
I would love to give some on the new dodges a try. The closest I've come is driving a ram srt10

I think I recall seeing a photo of the mid engine Vette.They serm to be trying more and more to make them resemble some kind of Ferrari.

Yeah they have been talking about it for years. It's not that they're trying to make the Corvette look like a Ferrari, it's just happens when you set the motor where the back seat should be. But taking the weight off the nose really helps the car handle.

Ah,makes sense.I found a photo.
mid-engined-corvette.jpgWhile it looks nice and all it just does not look like a Vette.
