Does anybody know? Harlequin lancer

A contender for the prettiest catfish IMHO.

I have been looking but never saw them for sale for 7+ years. Now, all of a sudden a few places have been selling them $50-$70 (2"-3") and one place a ~6" fish at $175.

I got my first Harlequin from Sam Lai (fishonlinerus) 1-2 weeks ago. Very pretty, even w/o one pec fin. Has been an easy fish to take care of so far. Like the Black, it is a foodie. Started feeding within hours of arrival. Appears pretty hardy, although Sam complained of it being sensitive to water temp, hardness.

I am to receive 2 more Harlequins (plus 3 Black lancers) from Wet Spot this week.
I think if water conditions are stable theyre hardy I've had one before that seemed sensitive if I did wc from my hose cold well water changed to doing that mixed with warm water from faucet

So far my 3 harlequin and 3 black lancers have been doing well. I actually lost my first black I got this summer to what, I supposed, was an extreme overeating. Have to keep on guard against that.
