Does anyone collect video game consoles?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Do you guys think there are still unopened old nintendo systems?

Yes,those can still exist, but very pricey, more than what it use to cost on the shelves.I know someone who has 2 unopened Sega Dreamcast, where he can easily get 300 to 400 dollars for, from a true video game collector.

Last I checked un opened DC's were a little less than that.

I have owned a supernintendo, DC, gamecube and a Wii in my day...but sold the wii shortly after it came out for a profit, and havent really played video games since...

I DO own 7 broken sega dreamcasts...love that system. There is a certain point however where they just burn out. You turn them on one day, and the thing says: "Set date and time." and the controller wont do anything. Only once has this been a bad controller port, because I have swapped them out from others...and none of the controllers were broken. I wish they didnt do that.

At any rate, my friends and I still love and play classics like Ooga Booga, NBA on NBC, tetris, and some others on the DC. We do more gaming on that than anything else...probably a couple times a week. :D

Has any of you guys played paper mario before for the n64?

That would be the second remake nes,my uncle has one of those still actually. Those in my opinion work much better than the first nes consoles with games not messing up as much.
It's the remake in the US, but that's how the original version of NES in Japan, and yes, it works better than the one that you slide the game from the front, which can't read the game properly..

my younger bro collects classic consoles, all i have a my Xbox 360 and a DS lite. I used to have a dreamcast, loved it and had it in storage for years, lasat year i decided i wanted to play shenmue again , plugged it all in and nothing, she was dead, lol damn sega put a use by date chip on them i guess haha.

Adding my favorite games to play on the early platforms

Sega Master(and the original Phantasy Star, graphics sucked, but a lot of fun)
NES(Final Fantasy)
SNES(Ogre Battle)
Gameboy Advance-too many from here out
Nintendo DS & DSi
